Day 364 - Uknown Friends

Tonight, I got to meet for the first time some people that are readying my blog who i don’t personally know. It was a very interesting and strange experience - I know nothing about the people I met, but they know a lot about me… My mom, not aware of that, was trying to introduce me to them… “Mom, they know the color of my underwear - no need to introduce me!” I have been writing and sending my daily blogs out there to the world and intellectually I know that people are readying it, but since I don’t see them, I don’t really think about it much and don’t really get what that entails. Meeting these people today, I felt a bit shy; shy and somehow exposed. But that is what writing and art in general are all about - you expose yourself to the world, you allow yourself to be vulnerable, and honest… you get to make some people you don’t know at all happy, and others upset… you get to affect people’s lives and they get to know you in return in a more intimate way. Anyway, great to meet you, (mostly) ladies! Thank you for reading and getting to know me!
